Yunustech specializes in lighting products for many applications. From hospital operating rooms, to horticulture and trade-shows, to retail, we provide the lighting products and services to fit your needs.

Our team includes several Certified Illumination Engineers (CIEs) with many years of lighting experience. Our strength is designing custom solutions unique to each customer in terms of lighting intensity, colour, programmability and more.

Our customers consist of leading corporate, institutional and government clients. Our products bring in our customers and our service keeps them coming back.

History Timeline

  • 2005 – Yunustech is established as contract engineering services focused on medical electronics.
  • 2007 – Brewster facility opens first large size SSL contract (Walmart).
  • 2009 – Paget facility opens.
  • 2011 – Yunustech’s focus is SSL.
  • 2013 – ISO9001 complete.
  • 2014 – First 400W GHL installation.

What Our Clients Say

I am a medium size flower grower. I grow on the tables. Yunustech gave me the idea of growing under the tables. Summer I put some under the table but not much. Sun cannot penetrate especially the center. Yunustech has installed one row of red and blue light bars under the tables. Now, I am getting 30% more production from my green house. When our biggest client, Walmart called and asked for energy efficient and environmentally friendly lighting, I knew immediately that I was in trouble. I called Future Electronics Lighting Division for help. They gave me 3 names. Same day I got 2 of the LED experts came. It was a bit upsetting to wait Yunustech to showed up a week later. Their engineer unlike the others came quite prepared. He had his light meter with him, he carefully took measurements from our existing fixture. Shortly after the meeting Yunustech has supplied mechanical concept drawings, calculations and a quotation. We have a very difficult geometry to illuminate evenly and we have no chance to ventilate the light box. After a few different prototypes, Yunustech came up with the best possible solution at that time. After a year in production they redesigned the entire fixture. I should say, without Yunustech’s help we would never be able to continue to be a supplier to Walmart.

Our biggest problem in the lighting module was the periodic but sudden and huge thermal regime changes. Yunustech has a very good custom developed thermal simulation software which helped to improve our existing design. Yunustech’s liquid nitrogen chamber became very handy for doing -100C/+100C shock tests.
